U15s suffer loss to Middleton Cheney

  • 23rd May 2018

The U15s incurred their first defeat this season last night to a well-organised Middleton Cheney side. Winning the toss, Tew elected to bat first and both Ben Sinton and Richard Churchill made assured starts before losing their wickets cheaply. Sam Chopping looked aggressive but also fell before too long and we only ended up setting a total of 62 which our opponents reached in 10 overs with the loss of only 2 wickets. Plenty to work on but the boys should not be downhearted as they are a talented squad and, if anything, simply need to apply themselves a bit harder in match situations.
